The registration deadline is Friday, May 10. After May 10, registrations will only be taken on site.


While we look forward to an in-person conference, there is no higher priority than the safety and well-being of ADEA members and staff. Accordingly, we continue to monitor the status of the COVID-19 variants and their impact on the operational status of our ADEA Member Institutions.ADEA will implement health and safety protocols appropriate to the public health circumstances existing at the time of the conference. Compliance with some or all the protocols adopted by ADEA will be mandatory for in-person attendance and participation at the conference by members, guests of members, sponsors, staff, etc.

Additional information regarding the specific health and safety measures, and any necessary consents by you, will be communicated prior to the first day of the conference. Failure to adhere to or comply with the safety protocols in place may result in removal from the event and/or event premises.

Hotel room reservations can be made online, or directly calling the hotel’s reservation department at 1-800-WESTIN-1.

  • The negotiated room rate for ADEA attendees is $239 per night for single/double occupancy, plus applicable taxes (currently 15.95 %).

  • The deadline to make hotel reservations at the group rate is Friday, May 3, 2024, or when the group rate rooms sell out, whichever occurs first. After May 3, reservations at the group rate will be accepted only on a space-available basis. The room block may fill before May 3, so we encourage you to make reservations early.

  • Please contact the hotel directly if you need to cancel your reservation. Reservations may be cancelled up to 72 hours prior to your reserved arrival date at no charge. For cancellations made after the time noted, the hotel will retain the room deposit of one night plus applicable taxes.

  • Hotel check-in time is 3:00 p.m. or earlier, as rooms become available. Check-out time is noon. Please contact the hotel directly if you need to cancel your hotel reservation.

  • You are responsible for making your hotel arrangements directly with the property. The registration fee does not include hotel arrangements, flight or ground transportation, or any incidentals related to traveling to the meeting.


The ADEA hotel block rates are available three days before and after the program dates based on guest room availability.


The closest airport is Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The hotel is approximately 5 miles from the airport or a 25- to 30-minute ride, depending on traffic.

  • Taxi service is available at the curb on the lower level of the airport terminal just outside of baggage claim.
  • Uber and Lyft services are available from the airport to The Westin Washington, Downtown.
    When using these services for pick-up, exit the terminal to the ground transportation center on the first floor of the terminal.

Attire for the meeting is business casual. We also recommend layers to offset temperature fluctuations across meeting spaces.

Guest registration is limited to one adult guest (18 years or older) who is not a dental education colleague. The registered adult guest may attend all Saturday and Sunday evening events.

Individuals under the age of 21 are not permitted at events where alcohol is served.


To provide an appropriate professional setting, ADEA does not allow children under the age of 18 to attend any conference functions.

We request that you arrange for the supervision of children who accompany you.


If you are unable to attend, please submit a written cancellation message by Friday, May 3 to Shalonda King, ADEA Senior Manager, Meetings Registration, at ADEA will issue a refund—minus a $75 processing fee—after the meeting’s conclusion. 

Cancellation requests received after May 3 are not eligible for refund or credit. Refunds or credits will not be given for failure to attend, late arrival, unattended events or early departure.


Speaker presentations will be provided in the online program planner, which will be made available closer to the event.


Yes. An email with instructions on how to obtain CE credits will be sent to all attendees after the conference.
