▷ What elements of the 2021 ADEA Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Workshop will the virtual session include?

The virtual 2021 ADEA Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Workshop will feature several sessions that describe how self-perceptions and views of in-group/out-group status are impacted by societal and institutional structures. Participants will develop campus strategies for leveraging in-group identity to mitigate bias and foster humanistic and inclusive environments.

Yes. This event is open to ADEA members and non-members.


▷ Can I register my colleagues for these events?

No. Group registration is not possible for these events. Individual registrations are required.


▷ Can I share my virtual conference login information with other members of my team?

For each individual registered to attend virtually, only one device (computer, laptop, tablet, phone) will be allowed to enter the virtual conference.

Due to the sensitivity of these sessions and to create a safe space for program participants, the 2021 ADEA Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Workshop will not be available on-demand.

 

▷ Are CE credits offered for this meeting?

Yes. The American Dental Education Association is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.

Continuing education credit is awarded for participation in individual designated educational sessions and not for overall 2021 ADEA Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Workshop attendance.


▷ How will I obtain CE credits?

Complete the evaluation process for all eligible attended sessions. Evaluations will be emailed to attendees by Friday, Oct. 29 and must be completed by Friday, Nov. 12.
