MEMBER FOCUS: Farmingdale State College Dental Hygiene Care Center Opens the Henry Schein Cares Sensory Room

The new sensory room has soft lighting, sensory textures, fidget toys, noise-canceling headphones and more to provide an environment of calm and comfort for patients with special needs. The goal is twofold: for these patients to receive oral health care that encourages them to return in the future and to provide a learning experience for dental hygiene students.

Lyon College SDM Celebrates Patient Care Clinic Opening, Expands Dental Education and Patient Access
