Policy, research, self employment, or working abroad? These are just a few of the several options available to you after you graduate dental school.
Advanced Dental Education Programs
Being a dentist is not one size fits all. One of the most attractive features of dentistry is that you can find a career within the field that suits you. If you enjoy working with children, then perhaps orthodontics or pediatric dentistry will be the field for you. If you enjoy a challenge, you may consider oral and maxillofacial surgery or prosthodontics.
What's important is that you take the time you need to research each area of dentistry, if it fits your personality and career goals and if the type and length of study will work for you. Then make a plan and get started!
