1. What makes you excited to go to work each day?

I get excited to go to work for many reasons: waking up with a purpose, running such an innovative and impactful company, being surrounded by a team who are a combination of forward thinking and positive professionals and having such a great team who are aligned with our mission at Immersify.

2. What are you most proud of professionally?

Founding and being CEO of Immersify is my proudest achievement. Growing a company is not an easy task; there are highs and lows, but to continue to drive the vision on a daily basis brings many different achievements and learnings.

3. What’s a major development in your field that’s flying under the radar?

How quickly immersive technology is advancing, and how this generation of students are using it for their educational needs outside of university. Educational institutions must be proactive to adopt an approach that aligns with what this generation requires. I think students are finding new ways to learn. To keep students and educators engaged in education in university, there needs to be an even quicker adoption of data-driven tools to support students in and outside of the university.

4. Who is your go-to person when you need advice?

It depends on the type of advice I am looking for. If I am looking for business advice, I have mentors and advisors I have worked with for several years, as well as an experienced executive team and board of directors. I also have friends who are founders and CEOs who are excellent in their field and always provide great advice.

5. What do you look forward to outside of work?

I have always been into sports. Doing something active like tennis, walking and Pilates always makes me feel rejuvenated. Spending time with my family and friends and taking some time out to think about business and personal goals always sets me up well for a busy week ahead.
