1. Tell us about one of your “big wins” recently?

Recently, I was selected by the ADEA Chapter leaders in my district to be their District Commissioner. It’s such an honor, and I can’t wait to dive into this role and make a real impact on the growth and success of our chapters in the district!

2. What’s the one piece of advice you would give to anyone in dental school?

A piece of advice I’d offer to anyone navigating dental school is to always keep your WHY in mind. Dental school can be challenging, and there will be moments when you need to reconnect with your motivation and remind yourself why you’re in it in the first place.

3. What’s the biggest challenge facing dental education today?

Beyond the rising cost of attendance and the barriers they impose, I believe the biggest challenge facing dental education is ensuring that the curriculum is able to keep up with the rapidly evolving dental technologies and techniques.

4. What’s your favorite vacation spot—and why?

My favorite vacation spot is Paris, France! When I visited, I enjoyed visiting the museums, seeing the Eiffel Tower and eating alllllll the pastries.

5. What skill or talent would you most like to develop?

I would love to learn how to sew! I have had too many instances where I lose a button, or I get a small little rip in the wrong place, and I wish I could just fix it myself.
