ADEA Corporate Council

About the Council

The ADEA Corporate Council represents ADEA’s corporate members. The Council aims to increase understanding between corporate members and ADEA members, maintain a strong base of corporate membership; identify and support programs of interest to the entire ADEA community; and apprise corporate members of relevant Association activities. In addition, the Corporate Council establishes criteria for and advises the Board of Directors on, the approval of applications for corporate membership. The Council exchanges information with other ADEA component groups and the Association’s member institutions; works with other ADEA component groups to encourage coordinated approaches to dental and allied dental education and care delivery; identifies projects, studies, and reports that will benefit the Council’s or the Association’s members and provides consultation on those projects, studies, and reports; and introduces appropriate resolutions to the Board of Directors and House of Delegates.

The ADEA Corporate Council Administrative Board represents all council members. The ADEA Corporate Council is also represented on the ADEA Board of Directors by the Board Director for the Corporate Council. Council members have a voice in the governance of the Association through representation in the ADEA House of Delegates, the Association’s policymaking body.
