Dental Research

Dental researchers represent the future of the profession as they study new approaches to practice. If you choose to take up a research career, you may work at a university or a specialized center of health and research, such as the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, which is part of the National Institutes of Health, or you may take a position in the private sector.

It’s also work you can do as a student or while you are working in private practice through advanced dental fellowships and research opportunities sponsored by public and private organizations.
