Nominations Needed! Position Vacant on CDEL Dental Admission Testing Committee

The ADA Council on Dental Education and Licensure (CDEL) is seeking nominations for an admission officer/registrar/administrator vacancy on its Dental Admission Testing (DAT) Committee. The Committee is a standing committee of the Council responsible for setting direction, establishing policy and overseeing research related to the Dental Admission Test (DAT), Advanced Dental Admission Test (ADAT) and the Admission Test for Dental Hygiene (ATDH). Further, the Committee members review content domains, test specifications and examinee aggregate performance information for these admission tests. 

The Admission Officer/Registrar/Administrator vacancy is a one-year term with possible reappointment through October 2027. To be eligible, the applicant must meet the following requirements: 

  • Be an admissions officer/registrar/administrator affiliated with dental education program(s) accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA);
  • Have knowledge, experience and interest in current student affairs and admissions practices; and
  • Nominees who are dentists, must be members of the ADA.
